We collect an email address to verify users, manage membership and facilitate consent-based introductions. We do not request names, phone numbers, home addresses, employers, vehicle registrations or licence details.

Addresses are encrypted, never public and shared only after an explicit Yes. You may leave pools or delete your account at any time. Deletion removes your email and interests from the operational database. Encrypted recovery backups are retained for 30 days and are not a secondary contact database.

We do not sell information or use it for unrelated marketing. POPIA is a design requirement; final wording and operations require legal review.

The club only introduces commuters. It does not arrange or supervise lifts; verify people, vehicles, licences, insurance or driving ability; guarantee reliability or safety; set prices or manage payments; or accept responsibility for private conversations and travel arrangements.

Discuss or meet in a public place, avoid unnecessary personal information, tell somebody trusted about a planned lift, check arrangements carefully and end contact if anything feels unsafe.

Costs and contact

Any cost-sharing is a private decision. Organiser contact details, responsible-party information and the POPIA request process must be confirmed before launch.
